VP of Membership
Johna T. Speller is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Political Science in the Honors Carolina Program. Originally from Laurinburg, North Carolina, Johna is passionate about youth leadership, community empowerment, and advocacy. As the current Vice President of Membership for North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America-Collegiate, she is committed to supporting FBLA chapters and helping students explore opportunities in business. Having experienced firsthand how FBLA in middle and high school provided access to incredible opportunities, Johna understands how vital the organization is for students from rural communities. FBLA expanded her and her peers' understanding of business and entrepreneurship in ways they might not have had access to or envisioned without those experiences. With leadership experience in the NAACP at local, state, and regional levels, Johna is particularly passionate about driving positive change through social entrepreneurship and finding ways to leverage business as a tool for community impact. She is excited to apply her leadership skills to contribute to the growth and success of NC FBLA and its members.
