The 2026-27 State Officers and Directors welcome you to a new year of service, education, progress and FUN!

The NC FBLA Collegiate Fall 2026 Chapter Guide is now available. It contains information to get your year off to a good star like the state calendar with deadlines, Gold Star and The Legacy Leadership Award (TLLA) criteria, NC Fall Leadership Development Conference (FLDC) and the NC FBLA Collegiate scholarship. It also contains more information. Please be sure to look at it and contact Executive Director Chad Nichols, Awards Program Director Michele Parrish or President Colin Williams if you have any questions.

Give your chapter a strong start! Advisers and student officers can work together to earn Gold Star Chapter recognition by completing all eight activities. Full details and links can be found in the Fall 2026 Chapter Guide.

1. Plan together. Hold an officer planning session that includes reviewing TLLA. Assign activities and check the state calendar for the required timing.

2. Welcome members. Hold an interest meeting for returning and prospective members within the calendar timeline.

3. Share your contacts. Submit the Chapter Contact Form by October 16, 2026.

4. Join Fall Kick-Off. Have your chapter adviser and/or chapter president attend on October 8, 2026, 4-6 p.m. ET.

5. Share your chapter story. Submit a fall chapter update and photo using the NC FBLA-C Achievement form by October 16, 2026.

6. Attend FLDC. Participate in the Fall Leadership Development Conference on November 14, 2026, at Wake Technical Community College.

7. Report and pay membership dues. Submit and pay initial dues for at least 10 members by October 16, 2026. Coordinate the membership record and payment with your adviser.

8. Support the General Fund. Arrange a chapter donation of $50 or more to the NC FBLA-C General Fund by October 16, 2026.
