Neha Amaraneni
Vice President of Membership
Hi everyone! My name is Neha Amaraneni, and I’m excited to serve as your Vice President of Membership for NC FBLA‑Collegiate this year! I’m a third‑year transfer student at UNC Greensboro, majoring in Cybersecurity Management, and I recently graduated from Wake Tech Community College with an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts degree.
FBLA was the very first club I joined in college—and honestly, my first real leadership experience in the U.S. As an international student, FBLA gave me so many “firsts” that pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow into the leader I am today.
Outside of FBLA, I’m the co‑founder of Giant Wheel Buddies, an NGO empowering neurodivergent youth, and the co‑author of Cyber Clues: The Secret Door—a mystery adventure book for kids (ages 7–11) that teaches cyber safety and digital literacy through storytelling. At wake tech, I was a global scholar, served as a SGA Senator, a math peer tutor, and I spent two years mentoring refugee students through the BRIDGES (Building Refugee Initiatives to Develop Goals for Educational Success) program.
When I’m not in class or working on projects, you’ll probably find me hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, or binge‑watching K‑dramas and C‑dramas.
I’m truly excited to work with the State Executive Council and connect with all of you. Let’s make this year meaningful, impactful, and full of opportunities for every one of us!
