Jonathan Evans, often referred to as “J”, resides in Concord, NC and is an Employee Experience Business Partner for RingCentral in Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining RingCentral, he held roles in the banking, entertainment, publishing, and airline industries. Jonathan is originally from New Jersey but grew up in South Carolina, graduating from the University of South Carolina.

As a member of the NCPBL Professional Division, Jonathan began volunteering his time with NCPBL in 2016, serving as a session facilitator at the Fall Leadership Development Conference. He has facilitated or co-facilitated sessions related to Communicating for Leadership Success, Personal/Professional Brand Management, and a Resume Workshop. In addition to facilitating sessions at FLDC and SLC, Jonathan has judged several SLC and NLC events and functioned as a proctor for competitive events. Jonathan’s participation within NCPBL’s Professional Division led him be elected to the NC Phi Beta Lambda Professional Division- Foundation, Inc. Board of Directions in 2019.

Jonathan’s background in human resources management, employee development, training, recruiting, and process improvement has positioned him well to assist PBL students identify opportunities to reach their full potential as future business leaders.
