Dan Hazlett
Executive Director
Dan Hazlett has served as the State Executive Director (formerly State Adviser) since 2006. He has been a local adviser at Stanly Community College since the chapter was chartered in 1974. Prior to his State Adviser role, he served in the state Conference Director and Leadership Director positions for 19 years. In addition to the local and state work, he has served three terms on the National FBLA Board of Directors and was chair in 1996-1998. At Stanly CC he taught such courses as Business Communications and Technical/Professional Writing and is now in the Student Life Center coordinating student organizations and organizing student campus activities. Dan is a journalism graduate of Marshall University in his home state of West Virginia. "Fun" involves three grandchildren, yard work, church choir, and two cats!!!!
